State of Our Nation
On the eve of President Bush's anticipated State of the Union address, I have been asked to contribute thoughts from the "other side." That is easy ... Contrary to what our delusional president will say, the state of our country is categorically worse than ever in my lifetime (which stretches back aways)!
Yes, we have been in wars before -- but never one so idiodic -- and never so divisive. When active duty troops tell the man his "plans" are not working and he still won't listen, it is the duty of us enlightened Citizens, along with the Congress and the Courts to issue cease and desist orders.
We need to come together and pay attention to restoring what the United States of America should stand for -- honesty, ethics, fairness and equality.
