Haven't managed any posts of late but wow, have I been busy rocketing e-mails into the ether. Read on ...

To Nancy Pelosi on Syria trip:

Going to Syria was brilliant! The Middle East situation is in dire need of diplomacy. And if the bumblers and stumblers in the Bush Administration don't understand the word, WE the people must lead!

Believe me, you are a role model for progressive thinking, not to mention indomitable, unflappable femininity -- today's women at our very best. You go, girl!

To CBS Radio, NYC about Imus:

You MUST tell Les Moonves to fire Don Imus! The man has long been a jerk but now he's an over-the-hill out-of-touch jerk. And it is just such unthinking smart-ass remarks as he made that grant the right to ALL men to denigrate any woman they might choose to.

And no, it's not just about political correctness -- it's about equality, parity and ethics. Old white men, get over the idea that you control the world!

To CBS & MSNBC about the firing:

Thank you, CBS and MSNBC, for firing Don Imus. This is a wonderful first step.  And now we (you in the media and we out here in the populace) have an opportunity to begin to do away with hate speech. We will do our part to champion you if you set the example. No slurs and with racial and gender balance in your lineups and at all levels of decision making in your vast organizations.Again, thank you/thank you/thank you!
