To Maureen Dowd

To Maureen Dowd, New York Times columnist:

In response to your comment, “Hillary, you’ve been a great candidate, better than your train-wreck campaign. You’re Churchillian in your indomitable tenacity. You’ve inspired women all over the country. In fact, you’ve inspired some of them to hate me. But now it’s time for you to try to muster a gracious exit.”

I suggest that the positive-minded hard-working women (and men -- the few know who they are!) who are solidly behind the best non-incumbent candidate this country has ever seen, say to you, "It is time for you to downshift into something resembling journalistic behavior. Your "opinions" throughout this campaign have been negative and offensive. You have been an unrelenting Obamamaniacal media type and doubtless of great comfort to all the cynics out there. Proud of yourself?

Positively,
Carolan
