Pick of the Blogs re Dem Running Mate

Comment to John Heilemann's article in New York Magazine:

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I feel like I can trust Hillary Clinton a lot more than Obama and McCain. Her passion seems genuine to me, unlike the slogans of Obama and McCain, mostly because she has a track record of actually helping people. I didn't vote for Hillary in the primaries because I didn't think she could beat McCain in November in the presidential race, but now that Obama seems to be losing his initial shine, Hillary, who has such an exciting glint in her eye as a campaigner, is looking more and more like a valuable jumpstart to his campaign.

One impression I do not get from Hillary Clinton is that she is self-absorbed. I do think she cares about making people's lives better. I swear this isn't rooted in gender, but I find her a much more compassionate person than Obama, and of course McCain."

Question: Where were these folks when we needed them?

Positively,
Carolan
