Just announced: Fox Studios has purchased the film rights to a booklet by a 9-year-old boy. What's more, "How to Talk to Girls" started its life as a hand-written 46-page pamphlet that 4th grader Alex Greven of Castle Rock, Colorado sold at his school book fair for $3.
From there it went to publication as self-help by Harper Collins, where it reportedly was a hit.
But the kicker is what Fox shelled out for this property -- " in the low to mid 6 figures!"
Now that's crazy ...
