Reminder of yesteryear

I've discovered what a lovely time a holiday can be to be out and about in San Diego. By no means celebrating Easter -- rather running errands, dropping unneeded items off at Goodwill, a car wash, provisioning and other shopping. First, scarcely any cars on the road! And then practically nobody in stores and no lines anywhere.

It feels like a totally different place and older time, with calm, sane drivers, pleasant folks and an altogether gentler feeling in the atmosphere. But I guess I can only wish that it could always be so, hmh?

Positively,
Carolan
